| I am asking this question on behalf of my brother. He is married to the mother of his 2 year old daughter. All three live with my parents. Recently they have been having marital problems and last Thursday, she left my parent's house to move back with her parents. She left at night and has not brought their daughter over at all nor has she invited my brother to see his daughter. He can't afford a lawyer at this point and he really wants to see his daughter. What are his options? |

My goodness, she only left last Thursday - - and it's not as if she's going anywhere. So, give it 7 to 10 days, and let things simmer down a little bit. Divorce or Separation is a big step, and has a rippling effect on the entire familial situation. Perhaps, now, just perhaps, all she needs is a little time and space. Let up a little on her. She'll come around.
