A very close friend of mine is a victim of domestic violence (her husband abuses her physically & mentally). Before she files for divorce, she needs to know what her rights are and if her four children, their medical coverage, etc., the house and any other financial matters will/can be taken care of. She has not worked in 6 yrs. (since the birth of their first son) and doesn't know if whatever job she can find will be enough to support her children, pay bills, etc. I am trying to help any way that I can so any information I receive will be greatly apprecited. Thank you.
