what is mediation? Name change

Hello it is me jamie again. You give better and more advice than our attorney. He acts unsupportive and bored but its too late to get another attorney now since we just filed for a court date a couple of days ago. How far can the mother push the date back with a continuance? She told my husband on one occasion that if it was up to her he would pay support and then not see the baby at all. They tell us that since he has been proven the biological father and pays support that they will let him change the babys last name. Do you think that will fly? We hope. What happens in a typical visitation/shared parenting trial? What do they have you do? What are you asked? What is the basic standard minimum they give in Ohio for the min. visitation?? Why wouldnt we get it after all we have initiated? We put in a shared parenting order, with little or basic visitation time but access to med. and school records, things like that. How do we get the judge to see she is the unreasonable party? And will we have a chance in court to say our side and tell how we have initiated everything, even blood test and support? Help US!!!!
