witness tampering complaint

I was not married, and after I filed for child support,the father of my child got attorney who then deposed me. During the deposition, I named his mother was going to be a witness in the case. Shortly therafter, my child's father went to his mothers home enraged and tried to persuade her that if she were a good mother, she wouldn't do that to him, and she should testify aginst me in court. Isn'y this witneess tampering, and since I have no money for an attorney, how would I pursue action regarding this behavior, mother or not?
