| What do you do when a woman you've never met accusses you of being the father of her child to a District Attorney in order to receive Welfare? (accussed knows nothing of this) Two years later accussed is served with paternity papers from an out of state DA office. Responds appropriately and denies all as well as sends a picture (required) of himself. Six weeks later finds out the mother of this alleged child moves to another state, however that state response claims she has moved out of this second state as well and into a third state. Wife has proven to DA office that the social security number mother has given them (that they failed to black out on paperwork) does not belong to the woman. Woman has disappeared and is know no longer trackable. Original DA office refuses to drop anything until child can be found for DNA testing. Now second state is attached to case for childsupport as well as first, and third state is expected to join. Mother and child can not be found. Man has never been in the state he is accussed of being in to conceive this child. Questions: 1. How do you prove you weren't in a state they claim you were in. 2. How do you find someone who has disappeard that you've never met. 3. Do we have any legal recourse to go back on this woman when/if eventually found and proven liar. Original state is Washington, second state is Colorado and third state is unknown at this time. Any advice or legal help would be appreciated. |
