| X-wife suing for child support after 12 years lives very close. her and her 4th husband both work make good money .my income supports me my wife of 9 years and our two kids ,cant afford to pay her to need advice |

If the child is yours, she's entitled to child support. The amount will be within your States' Guidelines, which is dependant upon your income and her income. In what State is this happening? | State of Mississippi. why can she sue after 12 years knowing where i lived at all times then out of nowhere just sue me, dont the courts look at that and wonder why? |

It is a two way street. |

| even though alot of times she refused to except my help because her 2nd 3rd or 4th husband didnt want it |

| To stop a long thread developing, it is irrelevant. The child has not reached the age of majority so you are liable at anytime to be taken to court and ordered to pay child support. You can not get out of this, all you can do is get an attorney and ensure that you are not ordered to pay to much and that all guidelines are followed. You will be liable from the date she files the papers, not when it is ordered so start saving your money now. In many ways, you are lucky as you 'got away with it' for the last 12 years. You only have another 6/7 to go. |
