COBRA InsuranceWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA My husband just resigned from his company and we have yet to receive COBRA info. I have been told they have 30 days to send info. It is September 27th, does this mean we will be without insurance come Oct 1st? We want to have COBRA for 3 months until our other insurance kicks in. Any info would be helpful. Thanks! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| While those with more knowledge will answer the specific question, COBRA will relate back. The problem will be you need to come up with the money now and be compensated for the outgo.

| They have 44 days to send the Cobra info, if I am remembering correctly. You sign up when you get it and coverage is retroactive to your termination date.
