Is it legal for an employer to to an audit of health benefits and require that all existing employees bring in proof of dependants, is; marriage certificates/birth certs, etc. To prove that their dependants on their policies are actually legal dependants?

Thank you much.

You bet your sweet backside it's legal. It's not only legal, it's a very, very smart thing for an employer to do.
