I will be giving my notice at my current job soon. I received a SEP IRA contribution from my employer last year, but I'm concerned that since the distributions from this year (fiscal year ended June 2007) haven't occurred yet that my employer will attempt to withhold this year's distribution since I'm leaving the company.

Is my employer obligated to give me my SEP IRA contribution even if I'm leaving the company?

There is no information given to employees on the specifics of the SEP IRA policy (this employer doesn't like to have much in writing), but I'm assuming that since I received a contribution last year that I should be officially considered eligible.

Thanks in advance!
