What is the name of your state? Michigan

Hi,
I am tired of looking for jobs out there and finding none, so I was wondering if I can start my own business while collecting unemployment. What are the rules and regulations for this? If that is not possible I guess I will have to think about something else... I can't really afford receiving $0 unemployment right now.
Any advice?
Thanks.

This is an extremely state specific question and really should be asked of the UI office in your state. In my state you can only work at your own business for so many hours per week before they decide that you are not spending enough time at a job search and cut off your benefits.

You need to get this right from the source.
