What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
My child gave up their parental rights to my grandchild to the other parent. The child was adopted by the new spouse. I am wanting to sue for grandparent visitation. My question

Do I have to sue the other parent AND the new spouse or can I sue only the other parent?
