grandparent visitation

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OHIO
My son was recently sentenced to prison. I would like to know what rights I have to see my grandchildren and how I go about enforcing them.

Thanks

You have no inherent rights to the child.

How can I have no rights to see my grandchildren? My son is not incarcerated for any domestic issues. And the mother benefited from everything that went on, she just didn't get caught. How can I be denied my grandchildren for something the two of them were involved in? It just doesn't seem fair. I have always been there for her to keep the kids so she can go out and party but now she has had a change of heart for some reason. Does it matter the reason my son is gone away from his children, thereby, punishing me by not letting me see my grandkids?

You have no inherent rights to your grandchildren. Even if. You have INHERENT rights to your OWN child...Which by the sounds of it you did a craptastic job parenting.

Back off and perhaps Mom will allow you to spend time with HER child. File a GPV suit (that will cost YOU 30 or 40 THOUSAND dollars) and you will lose. And MOM will NEVER allow you near HER children again.

"Yes...I did!"

"Yes...I did learn interesting things!"
"Would you share with me an interesting fact?"
"Wellll....I learned that Naked Mole Rats are WICKED naked!"
