What is the name of your state? Georgia
Our son passed away on 11/20/04, he had a 7 yr old son. He , his wife & son lived with us. Our home was the only home our grandson ever had. His wife moved out & into the home (OUT OF TOWN) of a boyfriend, 3 weeks after our son passed away. We were getting our grandson at least 3 weekends a month. Now she has decided we can't see him anymore, because they have to move on & forget about us! This child is now 8 yrs old & has told us he wants to live with us & hates the boyfriend. Is there anything we can do about getting some rights to see our grandson??? We are not trying to take him away we only want to see the child we LOVE.

SOMEONE PLEASE ADVICE!!!

VERY unlikely since the Georgia Supreme Court struck down the current Grandparent Visitation statute.

With case law against you, you need an atty...a very good atty, to even make an attempt. Read up on the case BB sited for you.

You really need to endear yourself to mom. Offer to babysit so she and the b/f can go out, etc.
