Help for me and my family

Me and my bf lived in TX with his parents. When my baby was 7 months i was kicked out and had to come home (MI) without her. Me and my bf broke up because we couldnt get along at the time. 2 months later me and my bf got back together and i got my baby back. He would talk to his parents a couple of times and he thought it was all ok. Now she is a year old and i got papers yesterday saying his parents are fighting for full custody. There trying to say that we are unfit and dont deserve her but she is a lot happier here. In TX she was underweight and sick a lot. Here she gained weight and loves my family. When me or DH is not around she cries for us. I dont understand how anyone could tear a family apart. I never did anything wrong, only good things for my daughter.
