Confidence tricksters often rely on the greed and dishonesty of the mark, who may attempt to out-cheat the con artist, only to discover that he or she has been manipulated into losing from the very beginning. This is such a general principle in confidence tricks that there is a saying among con men that "you can't cheat an honest man."

I meant con as in the bad side of it you know like 'pro's and con's' of something. Not con as in a con artist.

You know, you described yourself as a working mom and I totally read "single" into it. I know i'm not the one who said the not-so-nice things, but I bet I'm not the only one who made that inferrence. Don't know why.

Anyway, does your husband work? Is he a citizen?
