Additional funds into HSA account. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota I have opted for a HSA for the very first time and have just realized that the yearly contribution I have chosen isn't sufficient. I realize that I can put money into the account at any time. However... 1. My regular contribution to the HSA is pretax. Deducted from my paycheck. No issue here. 2. If I put money into account from my savings, I have already paid taxes on that money. So, how is that tax free? ![]() |
