| Am I setting myself up for trouble? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado.
I work for a small company that employs about 15 people in Colorado. In an effort to cut costs, my boss has struck a deal with one of our strategic partners (which also happens to be an investor in the company), which will allow my company's employees to be insured under our partner's plan. Our paychecks will also be cut by our partner's payroll department, but will have my company's name on them.
If my new insurance company finds out that I'm not really employed by our partner (my W2 still has my company's name on it) can they deny any future claims I may need to make?
Any help that anyone can lend would be greatly appreciated. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |
