Hi I was wondering if the $5 copay for my eye exam that i pay to my optometrist would be reduced since I also have a blue shield member discount for this provider?

Usually, no. The co-pay is the co-pay. It's like when you have coupons for a store that specify that you can't use them in conjunction with any other discount.

But only BCBS can tell you for certain.

The discount would be for items that do NOT fall under the copay, such as a contact lens exam, or frames/lenses (unless you have a copay for those), extra coatings on lenses, etc.
