Cobra and 60 day periodWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts I made a COBRA decision on the last day it could be made. I don't want coverage to start at the end date of coverage from work. I want it to start this month. DoI have to pay all premiums for the past 60 days in order to get coverage starting now? |

| You do not have the option of having it start now. COBRA is retroactive to the termination of coverage, period. There is NO other option, under any circumstances whatsoever. So yes, in order to have coverage now, you have to pay all the retroactive premiums. |
