COBRA: employer's responsibilityWhat is the name of your state? New York On October 1, 2004, my employment was terminated by my former company. It is now January 4, 2005 and, depsite numerous inquiries on my part to my former employer, I have yet to recieve any information about continuing my health coverage under COBRA. What is my recourse here and how should I proceed? |

| You should contact the federal Department of Labor and file a complaint. They have oversight on an employers' compliance with COBRA regulations. 202-693-4650.
