My insurance company told us they won't cover our claim, because the clinic my husband went to was not covered under our policy. They kept us hanging for over a year before they told us they wouldn't over the claim because it was out of their net work. My husband goes to a Methadone clinic "substance abuse treatment" to manage his back pain, and it's the only clinic that offers this service in our area. My husband was told by others at the clinic that the insurance company has to cover the claim, because there isn't another clinic in the area that offers this treatment "methadone". Is there such a law?
