Dual health insurance coverage.

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

Hi everyone,

I have been using health insurance coverage through my husband employer for more than 5 years. Since I recently started to work, I also received health insurance from my employer for my own. Personally I prefer the health insurance from my husband employer as it has a better plan. One of my colleague also told me that the longer insurance should be my primary insurance.

My question is which one should legally be my primary insurance?

Your coworker is wrong. The insurance that you get through your own employer is ALWAYS primary.
