Employer paying for health insWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD I was laid off in March due to downsizing. I didn't take cobra (too expensive). They have now hired me back in a different department but there were some conditions, one was that he will not pay for my health insurance. Does anyone know if that is legal in my state? I tried doing a little research but am having a problem finding anything. Thanks |

| The only states where an employer is required to provide health insurance to their employees are Hawaii and Massachusetts. If you do not qualify for employer-paid health insurance under their plan document, the law is not going to force them to pay it. |
