Health Insurance Requirement

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Minnesota
Our son will soon graduate from college. Is our health insurance, from my husbands (son's father) employment required to continue covering him for a certain amount of time after he graduates?

That's entirely up to the insurer, and the individual policy. Read your policy.

Or, call THEM and find out.

usually a policy will terminate a dependent if they no longer meet the definition of a contingent dependent. they can offer you COBRA to continue after graduation. Check your plan booklet or call the insurance company to find out what the wording is.
