Help With pre-existing Medical condition Laws

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

Hello,

I live in Wisconsin. And I have a pre-existing medical condition(diabetes). I lost my insurance at the end of May 2008. How long can I go before the pre-existing law kicks in?

Thank you,

it would depend on the new insurance plan you are to get through your new employer. i have dealt with some employers who do not have pre-existing clause in their self funded medical plan.

But if you are asking how long you can be uninsured without the RISK of having a pre-ex clause kick in, the answer is 63 days.
