What is the name of your state?
California

I'm wondering where I can find pay-by-the-hour legal advice by phone.

I'm filing a complaint with the Dept. of Managed Health Care against my health insurance. (They refuse to pay a $9000.00 CAT scan bill.) I need advice on how to word my defense on the complaint.

Does anyone have an idea on who or what agency I could contact to get the kind of assistance I need?

Any information you could send my way, would be a great help.

Thank you for your help.

You don't need an attorney to file a complaint with the DMHC.

First of all, please provide some facts, the type of coverage/limitations?
Have you appealed this through the HMO's appeals process?
Who ordered the CT and why?
Was it from an approved (HMO) provider?
