is the move to HSA from the norm. good/bad?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

Hey there,

I recently heard about the HDHP with HSA & i seriously think , it sounds too good to be true!!
I'm currently paying $250/month with BCBS and I've never visited the doc as long as i rem...
I've read up quite a bit abt the HSA , But i have a few questions..

If i move into a HDHP with HSA plan...

1.Will all my monthly premium payments be tax-deductible?
2.Is the limit for a single individual $2950?(i know it changes every year, but i belv. that's the one for 2008)
3.If my employer pays medicare, are my monthly premiums still tax-free?
(i had read somewhere that, if ur enrolled into medicare..the premium u pay is taxed)
