What is the name of your state? New York

We have a 94 year old man and his 86 year old wife who are Medicare primary and they are also covered under UHC American Airlines Retiree Coverage as well as AARP Supplement. I am getting conflicting information from the patients, all insurance companies as well as American Airlines.

What would the correct order of benefits be after Medicare and where would I find this information to show all involved so that this matter could be settled and claims can be paid instead of being rejected by the lat two payors?

Any successful direction would most greatly be appreciated.

Medicare is primary. Medicare is pretty much ALWAYS primary for a retired person. Federal plans come before everything else.

My GUESS would be that the retiree policy would come before the AARP, but technically they are both group policies, so I'm really not 100% sure either way. The general rule is that group policies come before individual policies, but that doesn't help. I think the rule after that is the policy that has been in place the longest will come next. When you called both these policies, what were you told?
