weight loss surgery

What is the name of your state? colorado I need weight loss surgery. My doctor recomends it to help the other health problems i am having. The insurance company(bcbs of nebraska) says" Treatment and monitoring for obesity or for weight reduction, regardless of diagnosis, including surgical operations is a noncovered service." Is there a way to have this overturned?

Not if your policy contract says it is not covered.
