What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state? TN

I have Blue Cross and Blue shield - family coverage that is completely covered by my employer at this time - Husband recently had a hard attack and a condition that requires that he goes into the hospital every other week. He signs on all the lines of responsibility but he is using my insurance - he is currently not working and I'm footing all the bills - -I could no longer pay the medical bills - who is responsible for the bill - he; because he signed or me because he is on my insurance - The insurance company told me that I would be ultimately responsible for all medical bills even if I didn't sign...

I presume you meant to say heart attack . . .

Your husband incurred the charges for services performed, he signed the financial responsibility. The bills will come to him if your carrier does not pay them. If he cannot pay the account will be turned over to collections and he may be sued. Any jointly owned property is fair game in satisfying the debt.

If he returns to work his wages can be garnished.

Has Blue indicated they will not honor any of his claims? If so, why?
