What is the name of your state?
PENNSYLVANIA

I AND TWO OTHER WOMEN WERE LET GO FROM THE SAME WORKPLACE WITHIN THE PAST FEW MONTHS. THE COMPANY GAVE EXCUSES WHY EACH OF US HAD TO GO, BUT WE SUSPECT IT IS AGE DISCRIMINATION. WE ARE EACH IN OUR LATE 40s-AND MID-50s. MEN OUR AGE ARE NEVER TERMINATED...BUT WE WERE WITHOUT THE BLINK OF AN EYE.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE NEEDED FOR CLASS ACTION SUIT? IF OUR EMPLOYER HOLDS TO THE FLIMSY EXCUSES WHY WE WE LET GO, DO WE STAND ANY CHANCE OF PREVAILING SHOULD BE SAY WE SUSPECT AGE DISCRIMINATION?

thanks.

Don't be worrying about class action suits just yet. If you believe you were each discriminated against because of your age and/or gender, then contact your State's equal rights division or the federal EEOC and file a complaint of prohibited discrimination. You must pursue that option and receive a "right to sue" letter from the government before you can even consider filing a lawsuit.
