Georgia/State employee suspended with pay pending investigation of alleged misconduct for up to 45 days. After 7 days have not heard from state. Learned investigator has not even received case. In Georgia what type of things fall under misconduct? When does the state have to inform you of specific allegations ? And, is suspension with pay considered punitive ?
