My wife applied for a job with a major company, clerical. went to the interview with positive results and took a test(basic math grammer)they said they will call if they have a offer. Well they called but they said because we filed bankruptcy she may not have the job. they will have to talk to the VP about it. they wanted details. We are very embarrassed about the bankruptcy, and she felt very humiliated. Is this right? Can an employer not higher you because of past or even present credit histories? This is in Missouri.
