undefinedWhat is the name of your state?Florida

My boss just informed me that she wanted me to resign from my job. She gave no reason, but said that if I agreed to resign we could "do this amicably and recieve a good letter of recommendation."

I have requested a copy of my Human Resources work file and my employer has not been forthcoming.

Are employees, terminated or not, entitled to a copy of their work file?

I would really appreciate any help in helping to find an answer.

Unfortunately, nothing in either Federal or Florida law requires them to allow you even to see your file, let alone have a copy of it. It's entirely up to your employer whether they want to permit this or not.
