What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ca.I work for the railroad(amtrak)they want to fire me because of "accounting errors" that were caused by me they total around 900 dollars over a 3-4 month period.Now they want me to resign.If i do that will i be elligible for railroad unemployment?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Unless railroad unemployment is radically different than normal unemployment, yes they would have grounds to dispute your unemployment if you signed a resignation.

Do. Not. Resign.

If you are fired for errors, so be it. You can talk your way out of that with most prospective employers. Heck, I've caused past employers a whole lot more than that. :p
