My office (where I've worked for 13 years) is now requesting that I sign an arbitration agreement, stating, very basically, that I give up my right to a judicial court forum if there are any claims involving pay, benefits, terminations, etc. I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and I am concerned about giving up any rights I have. Rumors going around our office state that if we don't sign the form, employment can be terminated. Any advice? I live in the state of Michigan, if that makes any difference. Thanks!
