What is the name of your state? Florida

Can a major employer with operations world wide force you to go on a 30 day rotation overseas away from your family then confront you with termination when you decline the assignment? This employer uses the tactic that everyone else is doing it but everyone else if afraid of losing their job so they go quietly.

The company is within its rights to assign employees as business requirements mandate. You do not have to take the assignment; that is your choice. And, BTW, a 30-day rotational assignment is not unreasonable. I know, I used to work for an international oil drilling company.
