What is the name of your state? California.

My husband was under investigation for harassment. Before the investigation was completed and documented, he was called into his boss' office and confronted with the accusations. He accepted responsibility and admitted that he did in fact harass another employee. He was terminate on the spot. Can his employer terminate him based on his admission and without documentaion of the investigation? Thank you.

What is there to investigate when your husband admits that he's done what he was accused of doing? The documentation is his admission.
