virginia, i have contract laborer trying to sue me for hours he worked before getting fired due to not showing up for work, he threatened $1,750 max allowed by va so he says. he wrote this letter with the laws attached i dont think any apply to him since he was a contract laborer and did not complete the job. we told him we would not pay him because he did not finish the job and we had to hire someone else to fininsh the job. please help...
