A Texas company wants to hire me to do some job for them, I am going to be working from other country outside the US.

Is legal for me to work for them while i am in my home country? They want to sponsor me a H1B work visa starting october 05 but they want me to work from my country from june to october.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Miguel Gomez

Yes it's legal as long as the Texas company pays you in accordance with your home country's employment and tax laws during the period you're working in your home country for the Texas company.

In fact, until your H1B is granted, they have a choice between having you work from your home country, or having you not work at all.
