Am I entitled to have my own lawyer present, other than a union rep. at any hearing that may result in termination?

Assuming by "hearing" you mean a meeting with your boss or other members of management, the answer is no. Weingarten (an NLRB ruling) allows you to have your union rep present if you wish but that's it. Your employer has no obligation to allow anyone else to attend.
