i live in pennsylvania. my employer has been releasing details of my termination to workers who were my subordinates, however, she is not even telling them the truth. is this legal, what can i do?
Did you give them consent to do this? Did you tell them you don't give consent? Give it in writing that this person is not to disclose ANY information TO ANY ONE other than the following:
1. term of employment
2. salary level
3. position
If you know the information that is being disseminated is false, then you need to sue under a defamation theory.
