Can she open my paycheck???

I just got my first paycheck from this job and saw that it had be previously ripped open (assuming by my manager). Can she do that legally? I want to make sure before I take it to her and someone else in the company.

Do you think your manager doesn't know how much you make? Of course it's legal.

If I were you, I'd ask my manager if she was the one who opened the check envelope. You should make sure it was her and not somebody else. Assuming it was her, then just let it go after that.
