i am hired as an independent contractor/travelling salesperson. the company likes to dock my commission if i am late to the assigned job and for small paperwork errors. if a customers credit card is denied, they take the whole sale out of my check (it can be >100). is this legal under the irs's definition of an i.c. relationship?
