hello,
can anyone out there tell me more about the child labor laws? my
daughter was hired full-time at age 16, eight months ago. she is now 17, and they are cutting her hours to 25 per week due to child labor laws, they said! she has rent , etc. is there anything she can do legally to this company? the company is in wisconsin. i hope i did this right, lower case letters seems funny.
thanks,

Wisconsin does restrict the number of hours per week that can be worked by a minor between 16-18 when school is in session. And even if it didn't, there is absolutely nothing illegal about a company cutting an employee's hours.
