I live in Tennessee! We have an issue, were as, our employer management is requiring non-exempt employees to train contract employees to take our jobs after working in jobs several years. Then company employees may be assigned to another less technical job or could be involuntarily separated from the company. Most of the company employees affected are over 40 years old. Is it legal for a company to require employees train contract employees? What are the labor laws related to co-employment, such as, what are the do's and don't ? What are employees required to do when you have both company employees and contract employees working in the same area?
This appears on the surface as a way of getting rid of older employees and cutting cost at the expense of employees.

I know this is a very complicated question, but appreicate very much your answers and help in this matter.

Sincerely,
