What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma
My girlfriend has been bartending in an establishment for about a year now and recently started working a couple shifts in an additional bar. Her boss just told her today that it is a conflict of interest and that she will be fired if she doesn't quit the new bar. Apparently he thinks she's going to take "usuals" from his bar to this new place; even though they are in different towns and over 15 miles from each other. Does he have any right to do this?

"Conflict of interest" is a dumb way of putting it, but no law prevents him from firing her for having a second job.
