I was fired today and totally blindsided by it. They said they want to cut costs and since I was a highly paid sales executive and one of the newer kids on the block - bye bye, times are tough, kid! Well, I have a contract but the contract does NOT state they must keep me for any length of time, however, it does state that they guarantee me X salary for two years. My parting pay was two weeks salary only. My question is, do I have any recourse here as far as collecting my salary and what they guaranteed me?
Thanks!

Have an attorney look at the contract. It's going to depend entirely upon the wording.
