i was terminated after expressing disapproval over tax dollars being wasted on the salary of an incompetent school district employee. based on the supervisor's recommendation, the district has denied my unemployment benefits. what legal remedy do i have in an "at-will" state?

Being an at will state has no bearing on whether you qualify for unemployment benefits. If you were terminated as you related, the unemployment compensation board has procedures whereby you can file an appeal. I believe protest is thier terminology.
