I was dismissed from my teaching job because the employer (private school) found negative articles about me on the web. His claim was that I should have disclosed the events related to these articles (accusations of molestation). I have never been charged, arrested, convicted, lost a license, resigned to avoid termination, etc. Is the employer with in his rights? If not, what laws or rulings protect me?

Unless you have a bona fide, enforceable contract that specifies the conditions under which you can be terminated and which this violates, yes, the employer has acted lawfully, even if unwisely or unfairly.
